Inspired by these dreams and encouraged by his family’s support, Dr. Rana began his medical education at Government Medical College, Amritsar, where he completed his MBBS and MS.

This advanced training helped him develop specialised knowledge and clinical skills in the diagnosis and management of various urological conditions.
His educational background includes MBBS, MS, FMAS, and MCh in urology. He has also applied for a Fellowship and Diploma from the European Board of Urology (EBU) in order to increase his professional exposure and commitment to international standards of urological practice.

After finishing his super-specialization, Dr. Ashish Kumar Rana joined Patel Hospital in Jalandhar as a consultant urologist He gained substantial understanding of cutting-edge urology procedures and contemporary surgical techniques throughout this stage of his profession.
He learned how to perform advanced laser kidney stone surgeries, robotic surgery, and complicated laparoscopic procedures during his tenure. His areas of expertise include minimally invasive techniques designed to effectively treat patients while minimizing surgical trauma and promoting recovery.
